Before you can load data

Some general info to help understand what is needed in order to be able to load data

  • A relevant “Setup” (assay model) needs to be in place first.
    • IF no relevant Setup is available then contact the local admin who can then create a new Setup that matches the assay data.
  • An ID on each row of the assay data file (results) that enables linking the data to the relevant compound/batch
    • Compound ID or Origin Compound ID - OR
    • Batch ID or Origin Batch ID
      • What is best/correct to use here depends on what decisions were made when the compounds and batches were loaded
      • IF you want the data to be linked to the relevant/correct batch (and often that’s what you want) the results file needs to contain information about what batch was used. Either the origin batch id from the batch supplier or the batch ID from grit42 created when the batches were loaded.
      • IF no batch information is available the results can still be loaded but will then be linked directly to the compound via grit42 compound ID or the origin compound ID.
